On July 6, 2026, xAI released 21 new flagship voices for Grok Voice. Combined with upgrades to the original five voices, the platform now offers 26 production voices. Every voice is natively multilingual across more than 25 languages and immediately available in the realtime Voice Agent API, the Text-to-Speech API, and the new Grok Voice Agent Builder.
The new voice lineup
New voices include Lumen, Castor, Naksh, Atlas, Carina, Zagan, Helix, Orion, Luna, plus dedicated roles such as Wellness and Support. Each was cast and tuned for specific professional use cases: customer support, character voices, commentary, advertising, and education.
The original voices (Ara, Eve, Leo, Rex, Sal) received retraining with an improved recipe, resulting in more natural pacing, phrasing, and emphasis.
